Is your job on here? If not, you're fired.

I'm sorry, but Tom the Dancing Bug can go fuck itself, and not just for the profaning Richard Scarry thing.

It's your typical modern era Doonesbury-esque aren't-I-so-clever facile political play with bowel cancer of the mouth, and varies between wholly mainstream and what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-you extremist idiocy, which one can catch a whiff of on a couple points here. His snipes here are about 30% *incoherent* pablum, and he has no idea how to tell a joke. "fart sound app maker" - moderately funny. "web design complicator so that users will accidentally click on ads" is dragged out just long enough to kill the joke stone dead.
If you're going to be a political cartoonist, that's one thing. To fancy yourself as a Zippy the Pinhead meets Mallard Fillmore of the left, TdDB is consistently weaksauce. Doonesbury does it vastly better despite being not funny in ten or more years of recent memory.

I'm carrying over a couple extra years worth of TtDB hate. Give me a minute.

I take it your job wasn't in the picture, then.

I suppose it's tangentially related to a few, inasmuch as they actually exist. It's specialty manufacturing of a sort that's too arcane to outsource and has medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, and even archival end users. If that counts as "one-percenter service provider" even a little, maybe, but the whole one-percenter meme is so fallacious it makes my face hurt.
Also, if I'm represented better in a future one that fixes these flaws, I'd better resemble Huckle Cat, because he's just cool.

Well I giggled at this. Then again, I'm just a simpleton.

It's the "flavor with politics" thing. If you don't particular notice his politics, it might be worth a giggle. To me, it's like the guy who makes rye bread and just caraway seeds the everloving fuck out of it. If you have a history of disliking this guy's bread *and* you don't like caraway seeds, it's going to piss you off in far greater measure than any enjoyment of the bread you get.
Satire is more than bleated catchphrases and reference.
